Clemson - Florida State on ABC

The Clemson - Florida State game on September 25th has been picked up by ABC and will kick-off at 3:30 PM ET.

Game time for Bowden Bowl VI, the annual football contest between Florida State head coach Bobby Bowden and his son Tommy Bowden, the head coach at Clemson, on Saturday, September 25, has been set for 3:30 p.m. The game will be televised regionally from Doak Campbell Stadium on ABC.

Prior to the Clemson game, the dedication of a new statue and plaza will take place outside the new Moore Athletic Center in front of University Center D. A larger-than-life figure will be unveiled when the bronze sculpture of coach Bowden is unveiled.

Following the season opener in Miami, the eighth-ranked Seminoles (0-1 overall, 0-1 ACC) begin the home portion of their schedule this Saturday (Sept. 18) versus UAB at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN2. Clemson (1-1 overall, 1-1 ACC), ranked 25th in the latest USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll, heads to College Station, Texas, this weekend to face Texas A&M.

This makes the fourth consecutive Clemson to be televised opening the 2004 season. The Tigers defeated Florida State 26-10 in Clemson last year, however Clemson has not won in Tallahassee since 1989.
