Byrd Heading to Athens This Weekend

C.J. Byrd, the number sixteen ranked player on The National Hot 100, is back from a high ankle sprain and is expected to play this week. Byrd has been out of action for about two and a half weeks.

Not only does Byrd get back on the gridiron, but he will take another unofficial visit as well. Has his favorites changed any and where will he be visiting this weekend?

"My favorites are all the same. I am set on Florida State, Clemson, Georgia, USC and Florida. Those are my five," said Byrd.

"I have not set up any officials yet, but will do that soon. I plan to take all five of my officials during the season."

Where has Byrd visited so far and where will he be this weekend?

"I have been to the Georgia/Marshall game, Clemson/Georgia Tech game and I will be back in Athens this weekend for the Georgia/LSU game. I don't have anything else set up yet, but hope to get that all put together soon."

C.J. Byrd will return to the field this Friday night. North Augusta is off to a 2-3 record and will welcome Byrd back with open arms. Byrd says he is still not 100%, but is good enough to play. He is around 85% - 90% and looks forward to getting back out there with his teammates.
