Peach County High School
Fort Valley, Georgia

Darius Dewberry is a 6-4, 220 pound superstar from Fort Valley, Georgia. The talented linebacker has led Peach County High School to a 5-1 record on the season.

On the recruiting front, Clemson is currently battling three SEC powers for the star linebacker. "Georgia, Florida, Clemson and Auburn are my leaders," Dewberry told CUTigers.com in a recent interview.

The Georgia standout traveled to Athens last weekend to see one of his favorites. "I went to the Georgia game against LSU this weekend. It was good. I thought it would be a better game though," said Dewberry.

When asked who the current favorites are, Dewberry responded, "Georgia, Florida, Clemson, and Auburn are my leaders right now."

The Peach County star plans to wait until later this season to decide where he will go commit. "I will probably wait. I want to take my visits first."

Coach Jack Hines is recruiting Dewberry for the Tigers. "I talked to him today. He said he wanted me to come up for one of the games. He also talked to me about prep schools. They are talking about placing me in a prep school."

Dewberry plans to visit Clemson later this season. "I am definitely going up for a game. I'm not sure what game yet."

What factors will the prize recruit consider when deciding where to commit? "I want a school with a rich football tradition and a good academic program."
