This adds to the impressive list of offers Clay already held that includes, Miami, Oklahoma and Georgia to name a few. Clay didn't list the Noles last week as one of his favorites, has this changed that?

"I had a great time at Florida State," said Clay.

"It went really well. I got to talk to all the Coaches other than Coach Bowden. I toured the campus, learned about the academics, and last, they offered me before I left. That made me feel good. I kind of knew they were going to offer, but it makes it official when it is in your hand."

Does that put the Noles in Clay's top five?

"They are definitely in consideration. I still like Miami, Georgia, Oklahoma and Clemson. I will visit Clemson officially this weekend and then Miami on November 5th. That will leave me with one more official and that will probably go to Maryland or Auburn."

When will Clay have his mind made up and make his commitment?

"I plan to announce on Countdown to Signing Day on November 10th. We are working all the details out now, but that is my plan."

Antonio Clay has now visited Florida State, Georgia and Oklahoma for games this year. Has one of those stood out more to him than the other two?

"I would have to say Georgia has stood out to me the most. The overall visit there was great. The atmosphere and all the surroundings were very impressive."

Clay will have a busy schedule over the next three to four weeks as he works in his last three official visits while leading Twiggs County (7-1) into the playoffs. will keep you up to date with all the info on Antonio Clay. Top Stories
