Tigers Make Top Four

Eugene Hayes is a Five Star Linebacker from Florida that has flirted with the idea of going out of state for some time, although he keeps taking in games locally.

"Yeah, I went to the Florida State/Virginia game this weekend," said Hayes. "I had a good time there. I got there a little late. I got to hang out with Fred (Rouse) at the game some."

Any updates on his favorites?

"Right now I'm looking at USC, Tennessee, Auburn, and Clemson," said Hayes.

Notably absent from the teams that he listed among his favorites are Florida State and Georgia. One team that he visits on a bi-weekly basis (FSU) and another that he took an official visit to and once named a leader.

Is he serious about leaving the state despite spending so much time in Tallahassee?

"Yes sir," he answered quickly.

What about Georgia? He took an official visit to Athens just three weeks ago?

"I've moved them down on my list."

Sometimes its hard to decide where a recruit is really looking based on what he says, and one can look on where he visits officially or unofficially. In this case, Hayes said that is really no indicator at all for him.

So who leads out of his new Top four?

"USC is in the lead right now. I have a visit with them on November 20th. That's the only other one I have set up right now."

Keep an eye on Hayes' recruitment the next several months. This one could get interesting.
