RB Travil Jamison
6-0, 205, 4.5
Greenville High School
Greenville, South Carolina
The 6-0, 200 pound prospect visited Death Valley on Saturday to watch the Tigers battle the Terps. "I liked it. It was pretty cool. I really enjoyed myself," said Jamison.
Coach Blackwell spoke with the Greenville High standout before the game. "We had a good conversation. We talked about the running backs and fullbacks they have, just stuff like that."
Jamison also had the opportunity to speak with several players including Kyle Browning before the game on Saturday. "He was questioning me about if I was ready to play at the next level. I told him I am ready."
The senior running back is on his way to another outstanding season. "The game Friday night went good. They had eight in the box all night. I had 15 carries for 92 yards and two touchdowns." On the season the star running back has over 1400 yards and 19 touchdowns.
When asked if he has a leader, Jamison responded, "No, not really. I'm looking at Clemson and South Carolina."
Would the star running back consider leaving the state? "I'd say it's 50/50. There is still a chance I might leave the state. I am looking at Kentucky and Georgia. I will most likely end up staying in-state."
Don't expect a decision until this winter from Jamison. "It will be sometime in January or February. It will probably be close to signing day."
The Palmetto State standout is not sure about where he will sign in February, but he does know what he will consider when making his decision. "I want to make the right choice. I will look at the atmosphere and the people. I will also look at the academics. I want to major somewhere in the business field."
Jamison is not sure if he will make any other visits over the next few weeks. "I don't have any plans at this time," stated the prize recruit.
We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding running back from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2005.
