Bowl Scouts Coming Saturday

Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl representatives George Haney and Kirk Kirkpatrick will visit Death Valley on Saturday to scout the NC State-Clemson game in Clemson, S.C.

The schools will be scouted as potential representatives in the 2004 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on Dec. 31. The ACC and SEC team selections for the 37th edition of the Bowl are scheduled to be announced no later than Dec. 5.

Sitting in sixth place in the ACC, N.C. State (4-3, 3-2 ACC) looks to bounce back after a 45-31 loss to third ranked Miami on Saturday. N.C. State holds a 4-3 record in seven Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl appearances.

Clemson (3-4, 2-3 ACC), currently ranked eighth in the ACC, holds a 44-27-1 lead in the series against N.C. State. The Tigers are 2-4 in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, including last year's win over Tennessee. Top Stories
