Cook Expecting Clemson Offer?

Jared Cook is a prospect that is now starting to get the attention in football that he also gets in basketball (four offers). Cook is a tall, rangy wide receiver out of Suwannee, GA that has picked up a new offer. Who is the latest to offer and who are in his top three?

"Western Michigan is the latest to offer," said Cook. "I now have offers from them and Mississippi State."

Last time we spoke to Cook, Mississippi State was his leader, is that still the case?

"They are up there, but Georgia and Clemson are right there too. I guess you can say Mississippi State may be a little ahead because they have offered."

"I do feel that Georgia and Clemson are close though. They are wanting me to come visit when my season is over."

Does he have any visits set up yet?

"No sir, not yet…I plan to set those up after the season. Right now, I am thinking playoffs."

This season, Cook had 29 receptions, 642 yards and eight touchdowns for the Bulldogs of North Gwinnett.

The Bulldogs travel to Harrison for a first round playoff battle Friday night.
