Forest City (N.C.) East Rutherford linebacker Chazeray Jackson is starting to feel the effects of a great season in recruiting as more and more team are hearing about his play on the field.

"I like Clemson, NC State, South Carolina, and Wake Forest is in the mix now," says the 6-foot, 210 pounder. "There are a lot of new teams out there just now hearing about me that are going to come out and see me in the playoffs. I want to try to get a look at the colleges, because I haven't seen all of them."

Though only one team has offered up to now, another could be close.

"South Carolina offered me, and Clemson is still getting back in touch with me. I sent my tape down there, one of the coaches liked it, and the defensive coach has to look at it. If the defensive coach likes it, they want me to commit to them."

Should the Tigers offer, Jackson is not sure if he will be ready to make a commitment.

"I really don't know yet. There are a lot of schools, I just need to limit some visits. I just need to see some of the schools, and by then I should be able to make my decision."

Jackson has visited Clemson, NC State, and South Carolina for unofficial visits, but he has only spoken with one school about taking an official visit.

"The only one I've tried to set up is Clemson, but they said they really don't start until January. It might be by that time I may have committed."
