Morganton (N.C.) Freedom cornerback Jordan Hemby is quickly rising in the state rankings, and took over the spot of top cornerback in the state. For now, he is focused on four schools.

"I'm looking at UNC, Virginia Tech, NC State, and Clemson," said the 5-foot-11 who says there are no teams that stand out to him. "I'm taking a (official) visit to Virginia Tech next weekend (11/26), and the weekend after that I'm taking another one to UNC."

Hemby, who would like to make a decision soon after Christmas, says that he likes things about each of the schools.

"I know what I like, but I just can't put it all together in words. I can pick out different things I like about each school, but there is no one thing that I like about all of them."

Hemby will have a little more time to focus on his recruiting, and keep working on improving his game, after Freedom was bumped out of the playoffs.

"My strength is my ability to move with the wide receivers. I know there is something I need to work on, but I can think what it is. There is always something you need to work on."
