CB Brandon King
5-11, 175, 4.5
Houston County High School
Warner Robins, Georgia

The 5-foot-11, 175 pound prospect had hoped to take an official visit to Clemson, but a Friday night battle against one of the nations top programs prevented the visit. "I didn't get to make the trip. I woke up early Saturday morning and I was very sore. We played Parkview Friday night,0" King said in a Sunday night interview with CUTigers.com.

King led Houston County against one of the top programs in the nation. "We lost to Parkview. We had our chances to win. We had a first down on the 10 and had a turnover. If we had scored it would have been 14 to 10 and we would have been in the game. I had 195 total yards. I had 127 rushing and 68 passing."

The Georgia standout has rescheduled his official visit with the Tigers. "I talked to Coach Hines and we rescheduled my official visit. I am going to go on their big weekend on January 14 when they have the banquet," said King.

King did watch the Tigers on the and was impressed with the performance. "I watched it on television. I watched the whole game. Oh man. It was a big rivalry. I was laughing. They were getting after it. That shows how much they hate each other. Clemson came out and played a good game. My friend Chansi had a great game."

The Warner Robbins standout has a top 4, but two schools stand at the top. "Georgia, Clemson, Florida and Maryland are my top 4. Georgia and Clemson have a little lead over the others." King plans to take official visits to all four of his favorites before making his final decision.

When will the talented prospect make his final decision? "Now that my season is over I'm getting real close now to making a decision. I think I will make my commitment on my birthday. My birthday is January 28."
