A Cory Lambert Update

Many Clemson fans have wondered about the status of 4-star offensive lineman Cory Lambert. CUTigers.com caught up with Cory's mother and we've got the latest on his qualification status.

The 6-foot-7, 310 pound lineman attended the Clemson game against South Carolina just last weekend, and he continues to look forward to the day he can join some of his old Shrine Bowl teammates on the sidelines for the Tigers.

Has the prize recruit qualified to enroll at Clemson in January? "No, not to my knowledge. Not unless he got something in the mail today that I don't know about," said Mrs. Lambert in a recent interview with CUTigers.com.

Cory plans to take the test again next month according to his mother. "He is going to take the test again in December."

"He just has a hard time on that test. Just tell everyone to pray for Cory. That's the best thing we can all do for him. Just tell everyone to say a prayer for him."

Of course, CUTigers.com will continue to keep you updated on this future Tiger.

Lambert is one of six signees from the 2004 class that did not qualify, however at least one of those prospects plans on enrolling at Clemson in January- Jacquez McKissic.

McKissic received his clearance from the NCAA Clearinghouse just two weeks ago.
