Marlboro County High School
Bennettsville, South Carolina

The 4-star receiver traveled to Death Valley on Saturday to watch the Tigers whip the Gamecocks. "It was fun," said Taylor. "But I was surprised about the fight."

Coach Swinney talked with Taylor, C.J. Byrd and T.J. Williams on the sideline before the game. "Coach Swinney told us that we could be one of the best recruiting classes if we all come. He said we could be the future of the program."

Taylor also talked with the other talented prospects during the game. "I talked with C.J. and T.J a little bit. We just talked about our seasons. We talked about what we thought about the game."

The Tigers impressive victory did not surprise the Marlboro County standout. "I thought it was going to be a blowout from the beginning. After the devastating loss against Duke I knew they would win big. They needed the win."

Taylor had considered taking some other official visits, but he may be backing off any visits except the Tigers. "I was going to visit some others, but right now I don't know."

Would you give South Carolina a stronger look with Steve Spurrier? "I really don't know. Probably not."
