Durham (N.C.) Southern linebacker Charles Gamble has been looking at just two schools for some time, but he just changed the two schools on his list.
"I'm looking at South Carolina and Clemson, and those are pretty much it, right now," said the 6-foot-3, 215 pounder. "It's probably going to to affect me a lot. I don't know if Steve Spurrier heard about me or not, but I sure hope he did."
Gamble says that Clemson has a great shot as well with several things going well for them.
"They have a nice squad, nice facilities, and a high graduation percentage."
Gamble has had a chance to set up any official visits, with his team working deep into the playoffs. In the state quarterfinals last Friday, Gamble set what had to be a new school record with a 99-yard run.
"They punted the ball to the one. It was our first possession of the game, and I won't be denied."
