Clemson assistant coach Ron West paid a visit to Powder Springs Tuesday morning to meet with Etta Etta-Tawo, a top defensive tackle prospect. "Coach West came by to visit today. The visit went real well. He was telling me how he wanted me to come see Clemson and meet with Coach Bowden," said Etta-Tawo.

Etta-Tawo doesn't plan to waste any time to get up and visit Tiger Town. He's actually headed up this morning.

"I will be driving up to meet with Coach Bowden. Hopefully that's when I will finalize my commitment. Most likely everything will be over then."

By lunch time Wednesday the talented lineman may have his commitment finalized. "I am leaving at 9:00 to go up to Clemson. I am meeting with Coach Bowden around 11:30 or 12:00. I am real excited. I can't wait to get up there.

"I haven't seen the campus yet so they wanted me to go up and checkout the campus. Coach Bowden wanted to meet with me first before we finalize things."

The Tigers are looking at Etta-Tawo to provide depth on the defensive line. "They want me to play defensive tackle," stated the powerful lineman.
