Carlos Thomas Reschedules Visit

4-star receiver Carlos Thomas had hoped to visit Clemson this weekend, but that official visit has been rescheduled.

The prize recruit received a visit from the Clemson coaching staff yesterday, as assistant coach Burton Burns traveled to College Park to meet with the 5-11, 170 pound prospect on Tuesday. The Banneker High standout had planned to take an official visit to Clemson this weekend, but those plans have changed. "Yeah, I am going to reschedule my official visit to Clemson. It want be this weekend. I am not sure of the date yet. It will probably be in December."

Thomas is a good friend with Ramon McElrathbey who committed to the Tigers last night. Will his commitment have any impact on Thomas? "A little bit. I would like to play with him, but it's not something that has to happen."

When asked if his commitment to Georgia Tech is firm, Thomas responded, "Yes, it's firm."

Will the official visit give the Tigers a chance to sway the prize recruit? "They are going to have a shot regardless," stated Thomas.

What would it take for the Tigers to convince Thomas to commit to the Tigers? "I probably just need to go down and see the environment. I need to see if I am feeling comfortable. I want to see everything they have to offer."
