The former Alabama All-Star took a visit to Clemson this weekend to get ready for his enrollment in January. "It was alright man. We basically went over the schedule and the housing information, just stuff like that," McKissic told CUTigers.com.
Jacquez's mother also enjoyed the visit to Tiger Town. "It was nice. We had to come back last night because my sister came with us and she had to get back for work," she said.
The Alabama standout will be rooming with two others from last years recruiting class. "I will be rooming with Mike Hamlin and Barry Richardson," McKissic told CUTigers.com.
McKissic has the chance to meet one of the Tigers top remaining prospects. "I met James McKinney. He was cool. He said he like it a lot."
Another Tiger from last years class may be enrolling early as well. "I saw Elsmore (Gabriel) right before I left. I think he is coming in January also."
Look for the prize recruit to play defensive tackle when he hits the field for spring practice. "Right now they have a lot of young defensive ends. I think I will start at defensive tackle. I might move outside later on at some point." McKissic has his weight up to 280 pounds.
We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding defensive lineman from Alabama, right up through his enrollment to Clemson in January.
