DE Antwan Murchison, out of Pinecrest High School in North Carolina, verbally committed to Clemson over N.C. State Sunday evening. Duke, North Carolina, and East Carolina were the other schools that also moved in with a scholarship offer.
Murchison committed to the Tigers in a telephone call with Coach Bowden.
"I've been down there for a coupleo of games this year and it just feels like home," said Murchison in an interview Sunday night. "I like the staff, like the school. It just felt right."
Murchison becomes the 22nd verbal commitment for Clemson in the 2005 recruiting class. The acceptance of his verbal commitment also signifies the end Michael Adams recruitment.
Adams was a defensive end out of Alabama that was also receiving interest from the Clemson coaching staff.
