How was your official visit to Clemson this weekend?
McKinney: It went pretty good. We went over some academic stuff. I got to see Vickery Hall.

Did you have the opportunity to meet any of the Clemson players?
McKinney: I got to meet Barry Richardson and Eric Coleman. My host was Justin Miller. That was good because we are from the same state.

How did the conversations go with the coaching staff?
McKinney: They went pretty good. I talked a good bit with Coach West. I also met with Coach Bowden. He talked about how they would utilize me on defense. He said I could play early.

What was your overall impression of Clemson?
McKinney: It was a good place. It was a good place to focus academically.

How would you rate the visit on a scale of 1 to 10?
McKinney: I would give it a 9 ½.

How would you compare the visit with your Nebraska visit?
McKinney: They are two different atmospheres. They are both great football cities.

How would you compare the coaching staffs at Clemson and Nebraska?
McKinney: The coaching relationships are different. I am more familiar with the Nebraska coaches right now. Coach West came to see me last week a couple of days before the visit.

When do you expect to see the Clemson coaching staff again?
McKinney: Coach West and Coach Bowden are going to come see me this week. I am not sure when.

When do you plan to make your commitment?
McKinney: I want to take all of my official visits before I make my decision.
