Clay Down to Three

One of Clemson's top linebacker targets is down to FSU, Oklahoma, and the Tigers. Guess who's coming to see him first after the dead period?<BR>

LB Antonio Clay
6-2, 227, 4.6
Twiggs County High School
Jeffersonville, Georgia

Antonio Clay's second half interception helped seal the victory for the South's squad in Tuesday's Georgia North/South All-Star game. He gave me this quick update on his recruiting status after the contest.

"I'm not committed anywhere and I'm looking at Florida State, Clemson and Oklahoma real hard," Antonio Clay said.

Is he completely done with his official trips?

"I'm done with my visits and I'm just thinking about stuff right now. I'm waiting on a little time to talk it over with my family and I think when I make a decision everything will be right.

" Have any of these schools already made plans to come and see the Twiggs County linebacker once the dead period is complete.

"Coach (Tommy) Bowden from Clemson is coming to see me first. He's the only one I know about right now."

Scout.com will have complete coverage of Antonio Clay's commitment once he's ready to go public with the news.
