Dewberry Talks Favorites

With just a few weeks until signing day, 5-star linebacker Darius Dewberry continues to look at three favorites.

Fort Valley standout Darius Dewberry is home relaxing after participating in the North/South Georgia All-star game this week. "I did all right. I had a big hit against one of the wide receivers. It was a good experience," Dewberry told in a recent interview.

When asked if he is ready to go on record with a leader, Dewberry stated, "No, not yet."

Dewberry continues to maintain three favorites as he prepares for his official visits in January. "Georgia, Clemson and Auburn are still my favorites. I will visit all of them in January."

Coach Hines continues to try to convince Dewberry that he should play for Clemson. "Coach Hines called last week. He told me how bad he wants me to come to Clemson."

Dewberry is not sure how he will decide between his three favorites. "I don't even know yet," stated the prize recruit.

The Tigers have also been recruiting another Peach County High standout. "I have a teammate, Larry Cox, whose cousin plays for Clemson. We will probably go together to on our official visits to Clemson."

The Georgia standout is looking forward to relaxing over the Christmas holiday. "I don't have any plans for the holidays. I just plan to relax," added Dewberry.
