Jeffersonville, Georgia

Four-star linebacker Antonio Clay spent time in the Palmetto state during his holiday. "I had a good Christmas. I went to South Carolina to see some relatives. I spend some time in Blackville and Columbia. I was up there when they had the snow," Clay told CUTigers.com.

When asked if he is ready to go on record with a leader, Clay responded, "No, I'm not ready to name leader yet."

Four teams are still alive according to the star linebacker. "I'm still looking at Oklahoma, Clemson, Florida State and Miami," Clay added.

A decision should be coming over the next week or two. "I will probably make my decision in early January."

The Clemson coaching staff is working hard to convince the prize recruit to join the Tigers. "I talked to Coach West the day after Christmas and he said that he is bringing Coach Bowden to see me next week. They should be here on Wednesday."

Does the Jeffersonville standout expect any other coaching visits next week? "No, the others have already come by to see me," stated Clay.

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding linebacker from Georgia, right up through signing day 2005.
