Brandon Cannon has switched his commitment from Maryland to Clemson.
"I am now committed Clemson," said defensive end Brandon Cannon. "I switched from Maryland. I had to do what was best for me. It was a very difficult decision because I really liked Maryland. But the bottom line is that Clemson is a heck of a lot closer to my home than Maryland and that is big for my parents."
Cannon was hosted by Nick Eason this past weekend and he has already informed both coaching staffs of his change of hear.
Brandon will have an in-home visit from Tommy Bowden on Tuesday and he will not take any more official visits.
Cannon is a defensive end prospect from Stone Mountain, Georgia.
