The 5-9, 153 pound prospect traveled to Tallahassee last weekend to visit the Noles. "It went great. I really enjoyed going in and talking with the coaches. It was nice sitting in Bobby Bowden's office and talking with him," Chancellor told CUTigers.com in a recent interview.
When asked how he would rate the visit to Florida State, Chancellor responded, "I would give it a 10 plus."
Chancellor is ready to compete for playing time, no matter where he ends up in college. "I know they have like three young corners there, but I am going to have to compete any where I go. I can do it."
Chris will travel to Clemson this weekend with his brother for an official visit. "Yeah, me and my brother are coming up together this weekend. It would be wonderful to play with him. He's on one side of the ball and I'm on the other."
Demerick is not pressuring Chris to join him in Tiger Town. "He just says for me to do what's best for me. He's not really pressuring me," said Chris.
The prize recruit is not ready to name a leader. "They are all pretty much even. I like Florida State, Clemson, Florida and Oklahoma State.
"I will make my decision after my last visit. I am going to take my last visit on January 21. I'm not sure if it will be Florida, South Florida or North Carolina."
We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding cornerback from Florida, right up through signing day 2005.
