Peach County defensive end Larry Cox is ready to go on record with a leader. The 6-5, 250 pound prospect will take an official visit to Clemson this weekend. "I am probably coming up Friday night or early Saturday morning. I'm going to bring my cousin with me I think," Cox told CUTigers.com.

"I'm just going to have a good time. I want to learn more about the university and the coaching staff."

When asked if he has a leader, Cox responded, "Clemson is my leader. They have been recruiting me since the jump. They have been steady with me since the start. After Clemson I'm looking at Florida. It's pretty much just those two."

Coach Hines has built a good relationship with the star defensive lineman. "It's pretty good. He calls me every week and feel comfortable with him and that's important," said Cox.

A decision could come at any time for Cox. "I'd say there is about a 50% chance that I might commit early. I want to see if I fit in and do I feel at home."

"I plan to visit Florida as well. I haven't set a date yet with them though."

Cox is the cousin of current Tiger Chansi Stuckey. We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding defensive lineman from Georgia, right up through signing day 2005.
