The 6-4, 290 pound prospect will be bringing a car full of family for his upcoming official visit to Clemson. "I'm leaving Friday at 6 AM. My mom, dad, and my grandparents on my mother's side are coming with me. My grandparents have never been to Clemson before. We are driving up so we can all be together," Ruffin told

"Cory Groover is going to be my host this weekend," said Ruffin. "But I'm not sure who my roommates will be. Probably T.J. (Williams) or Paul Muse."

The prize recruit, who currently has over 23 offers, wants to see what Clemson has to offer its students. "I want to see what it's like outside of football," said Ruffin. "What is it like from a student perspective? I want to see what the night life is like."

The Leon High star lineman has been working hard to get some other prospects to join him in Tiger Town next year.

"I talk to Paul Muse once a week or so. Right now I am working on Ryan Stamper and Geno Hayes. I talked both of them into coming to Clemson for a visit. I think for Geno it's down to Clemson and Tennessee. Everyone thinks he is going to Florida State, but I don't think he will."

Quentez has built a great personal relationship with Coach Dabo Swinney. "We talk three or four times a week. I call him a lot to see what's going on. His sons are playing basketball. I call to see how they are doing. He said I'll meet them this weekend."

Ruffin believes he will be ready to compete for early playing time next season. "The biggest thing for me is learning the plays. Physically I'm ready to play," said Ruffin.
