Jamaal Fudge Hosting McElrathbey

Georgia standout athlete Ramon McElrathbey has committed to the Tigers two times this year and is heading to Clemson for his official visit this weekend. Can the star cornerback convince his good friend to join him in Tiger Town next year?

The 5-11, 180 pound prospect will travel to Clemson with his good friend James Davis this weekend. "I am going up on Friday with James. My parents are coming with us. I'll be talking to him in the back seat trying to convince him to go to Clemson," McElrathbey told CUTigers.com Thursday evening.

When asked how firm his commitment is to Clemson, McElrathbey responded, "It's real firm."

Coach Burns is working hard to get McElrathbey to sign with the Tigers on National Signing Day. "I spoke with Coach Burns yesterday. We talked about the visit this weekend. I found out that Jamaal Fudge is going to be my host."

The Mays High standout hopes to see some of the things he has missed during the game day visits this fall. "I just want to see the rest of the campus. I want to see what I haven't seen before," said McElrathbey.

McElrathbey will have no problem qualifying to enroll next fall. "I have a 940 on my SAT. I have a 3.0 GPA."
