Marlboro County defensive back Bryant McLaughlin confirmed with CUTigers.com earlier today that he is coming to Clemson this weekend for an official visit.

"I'm actually on my way up there right now. I'm coming up with Rendrick (Taylor)," said McLaughlin. "It should be a good time. We are both looking forward to it."

On the recruiting front, McLaughlin says he really wants to commit this weekend.

"They are going to try to place me in school so I can come play at Clemson later. I'm probably going to have to wait to make a commitment, but I want to commit to Clemson.

"I'm not sure where they will place me, but I I definitely want to go to Clemson."

McLaughlin was selected to the North-South All-Star game this past year. For the season, he recorded 83 tackles and four interceptions.

We will continue to keep you updated on McLaughlin, as well as every other prospect on campus this weekend throughout the next three days.
