While many of the current Clemson verbal commitments will be in Tiger Town this weekend, Austin will be competing for the Camden High wrestling team. "I'm going to take my official visit to Clemson on the 28th. I've got a wrestling tournament tomorrow. I think most of the offensive line will be coming up that weekend," Austin told CUTigers.com Friday evening.

The 6-4, 290 pound prospect has kept in touch with some of his Shrine Bowl teammates over the past few weeks, including future Clemson teammate Barry Humphries. "Yeah, I still keep in touch with some of my teammates. I talk with Barry Humphries some, and Thomas Slaughter and Jeremy Davis."

interestingly enough, Clemson fans need to be watching his younger brother Joshua compete for the next two years at Camden.

"My brother is up to about 240 now. He is lifting hard for wrestling. I'm not sure what he will play next season. We are losing our entire offensive line so he may have to switch to offense. Our coach doesn't like to let players play both ways," said Austin.

When asked if he is firm with his commitment to the Tigers, Austin responded, "Yes, nothing could change my commitment. I am only going to visit Clemson.

"I'm excited about our recruiting class. I think we will add Mike Davis. We may also be able to add Jamie Robinson." We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding offensive lineman from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2005.
