One of the surpise visitors to Clemson this weekend was Marlboro County's Bryant McLaughlin.

McLaughlin, a North-South All-star game performer last month, is talking to the Clemson coaching staff about a number of options right now.

"Coach Swinney told me yesterday that if I don't get my SAT up they will have to send me to Junior College," McLaughlin told CUTigers.com. "They are talking about sending me to Southwest Mississippi. I don't want to lose the eligibility but if that's what I have to do, I will."

McLaughlin was hosted this weekend by Sergio Gilliam.

"We had a great time," said the Marlboro County defensive back. "He won an award at the banquet on Saturday for academics, then we went over to Justin Miller's to hang out."

"The night before, we hung around with C.J. Gaddis, he was pretty cool."

McLaughlin also said that one of the highlights from this weekend was being able to touch the rock.

"That was real nice," said McLaughlin.
