Clemson verbal commitment Rendrick Taylor told CUTigers.com in an interview earlier Sunday that he really enjoyed his official visit to Clemson this weekend.

"It went real good," said the Marlboro County star wide out. "We talked about a lot of stuff. I met the new offensive coordinator, Coach Spence. We discussed my jersey number, which was cool. I am working to get number five right now."

One of the highlights this weekend for him was the stadium tour, and of course, running down the hill.

"That was awesome," said Taylor. "Going into the locker room and running down the hill were probably the two highlights for me this weekend."

Taylor also said he heard about a lot of guys close to pulling the trigger on a verbal commitment, including James Davis, Mike Davis, and Hivera Green.

"I know James Davis committed," said Taylor. "Mike is talking about coming to Clemson too. We think Hivera is real close. He did not commit today I don't believe however."

Taylor, who was hosted by Chansi Stuckey, remains a firm commitment to Clemson and will not take any more official visits.
