McKinney Returns from San Antonio

Clemson defensive line target updates on his top schools.

James McKinney, one of the top targets still on the board for the Clemson Tigers this year, wasn't in Clemson for an official visit this weekend, but he was in San Antonio for the U.S. Army All-Star game.

"It was okay," McKinney told Sunday afternoon. "I did alright. I had about four or five tackles. I had to adjust because I played some defensive tackle."

On the recruitng front, McKinney says he's trying to decide between two schools for his last official visit.

"I've got a visit the 21st or 28th between Oklahoma and Florida, but right now my favorites are Michigan, Nebraska and Clemson," said McKinnney.

The All-American defensive line also said that several schools are coming by to see him this week. "I know Michigan is coming Tuesday. Florida is also coming this week. Nebraska is coming. And Clemson? They are suppose to come this week as well. I think Coach Bowden is coming," said McKinney.

"I want to take the final visit and then narrow it down from there."

McKinney visited the Tigers officially in early December.
