"Feeling Like Home"

Ramon McElrathbey took his official visit to Clemson over the weekend. What did he think about good friend James Davis finally making his commitment? Is he still firm to Clemson?<BR>

The 5-11, 180 pound prospect traveled with James Davis to Clemson this weekend for their official visits. "It was real fun. I had a real good time," said McElrathbey.

When asked how he would rate the visit on a scale of one to ten, McElrathbey responded, "I would give it a 10. Definitely a 10."

The Mays High standout met with several of the Clemson coaches this weekend including new defensive coordinator Vic Koenning. "I met with the coaches on Saturday and Sunday. I spoke with the new defensive coordinator Coach K. We talked about the terminology of the defense. I liked his defense."

McElrathbey was not surprised at the commitment of good friend James Davis. "It was no surprise. I thought he might do it. I talked to him a lot about it on the trip up to Clemson."

The Georgia standout is firm with the Tigers. "I'm done. I will not take any more visits. With J.D. there I'm done."

The talented athlete enjoyed the nightlife at Clemson. "I had a great time. My player host was Jamaal Fudge. We hung around together with Tye Hill, J.D., Reggie Merriweather and a bunch of players."

McElrathbey has spent a good deal of time in Clemson this year and he likes the atmosphere. "It's starting to feel like home," stated McElrathbey.
