Clemson Visit Still On for Hayes

Tennessee verbal commitment, LB Eugene Hayes, will still go through with his Clemson visit.

Throughout the recruiting process, linebacker Eugene Hayes has named a lot of leaders and has dropped and added schools from his list on an almost weekly basis.

Georgia, Florida State, Southern Cal, Auburn, Tennessee, Miami, North Carolina State and Oklahoma have all taken turns at the top of his list.

Now, after committing to Tennessee this past weekend, it appears as though the recruiting process is a long way from being over.

"Eugene had Tommy Bowden and Coach Blackwell and Coach Swinney in for an in-home visit yesterday," Madison Head Coach Frakine Carroll said. "He will visit Clemson this weekend. I'm pretty sure he visit Florida State the following week."

Can the Tigers or Noles change his mind?

"I just don't know," Carroll said.

As a senior, Hayes was selected as All-Big Bend Player of the Year and 1st team All-State in Class 2A competition.

Hayes is one of the top prospects left on the board for Clemson. Top Stories
