Today, Tommy Bowden and three of his assistant coaches visted with Davis at Columbia High School.

"Coach Bowden, Coach Scott, Coach Burns and Coach Spence came by to see me at the school today. It went good. We talked about the offense they will run. We spent most of our time talking about the offense," Davis told CUTigers.com Thursday evening.

So where do the Tigers stand after today's visit? "They stand good with me," stated the prize recruit. "The coaches did not push me for a commitment or anything like that. Clemson is in good shape."

Davis did not commit today during the visit, which lasted over an hour.

"I'm not sure when I will make my commitment. But I will definitely take both of my remaining visits. I am going to South Carolina this weekend. I will be going to Maryland on January 28," said Davis.

Now that his high school football career has come to a close, Davis will be hitting the track for Columbia High School this spring. "Yeah, I'm looking forward to that. I will be running track this spring, the 100m and 200m."

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding running back from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2005.
