Chansi Stuckey Comments on the Vols

Jamie Newberg has the latest on QB Chansi Stuckey out of Warner Robbins, Georgia. Stuckey was in Knoxville this weekend to visit Coach Fulmer and the Tennessee Vols. How did his visit go, and who are his new favorites?

Chansi Stuckey visited the Volunteers this weekend and because of a Saturday basketball game, the Northside Warner Robins (Ga.) star had to come home on Saturday.

"It was a real good visit,' said Stuckey. "I love their facilities, academic support and they have a great tradition. Tennessee is a school that competes for the SEC title every year."

Stuckey is averaging 19 points and 6 assists a game for his high school basketball team. He has already visited Clemson and Auburn. Last week, he tripped to the Plains.

"Auburn was a real good visit as well. They are so nice and there are a lot of good people there. Hopefully, I will have a decision next week. If not, I will visit Georgia Tech or Florida State. Right now, Clemson, Auburn and Tennessee are all about even."

Chansi was close to committing to the Tigers after his official visit last week, and all indications are that it very well could come down to Tennessee and Clemson.

Head Coach Tommy Bowden will visit Stuckey Monday night, followed Tennessee Head Coach Philip Fulmer on Wednesday. Top Stories
