Chris Chancellor, brother of current Clemson commitment Demerick Chancellor, has committed to the Clemson Tigers.
Chancellor made his commitment earlier today in a conversation with the Clemson coaching staff.
"Yeah, he's committed now," said Chris' brother, Demerick. "It looks like we'll be going to school together and it's going to be Clemson. He talked to Coach Blackwell during lunch. I'm not going to Miami, I'm coming to Clemson, and so is he."
Chancellor, who is now the 24th verbal commitment for the Tigers in the 2005 campaign, will likely play as a cornerback at the collegiate level.
"Clemson has got a good sports program and the academics are great," said Chancellor in an interview earlier this week. "Coach Tommy Bowden is a real cool guy. It's like he likes to joke around with you, but he's serious when it's time to get on the field.
Chancellor recorded 40 tackles and seven tackles for loss during his senior season. He also had six interceptions--five of which he returned for scores.
We will continue to keep you updated on Chris Chancellor, right up through signing day.
