As it stands now, the Clemson Tigers have three key targets remaining in the 2005 recruiting class:

Player Situation

James McKinney
Schools: Clemson, Michigan, Florida

Scoop: McKinney was believed to be heading to Michigan, but a strong push by Clemson late in the recruiting process has created some indecision. McKinney was visited last week by most of the defensive coaching staff at Clemson, and has declared no leader ever since.

Announcement: 9:00 AM

Eugene Hayes
Schools: Clemson, Tennessee, Florida State

Scoop: Hayes was once a commitment to the Vols, but he decommitted after taking his official to Clemson the following weekend. His last visit was to Florida State, but he's indicated that he made up his mind before he left for Tallahassee. At the time, his leader was Clemson.

Antonio Clay
Schools: Oklahoma and others

Scoop: Antonio Clay has committed to Oklahoma twice, and remains committed to the Sooners to this very day, however rumors are flying that Clemson may be sneaking in the back door. It has been reported also that Clay called Clemson assistant coach Ron West as recently as Monday night.
