Tuesday Night Geno Hayes Update

Four-star linebacker has made his decision and discussed his college destination with Madison County Head Coach Frankie Carroll. CUTigers.com has a signing day eve interview with the top linebacker on the Tigers board.

The 6-foot-1, 220 pound linebacker has the decision behind him as he waits to let classmates, coaches and fans know the answer tomorrow. "I have made my decision," Hayes told CUTigers.com late Tuesday evening.

So when will the rest the college football world know about his decision?

According to Hayes, he plans the sign the LOI and fax it in to the lucky school the morning. Later in the afternoon he will then announce his decision to Madison County High around 1:40.

Earlier this week the Clemson coaching staff sent individual faxes to the star linebacker. "I thought that was neat," said Hayes. "I enjoyed that."

When asked if he has told any other prospects where he is heading, Hayes responded, "No, I haven't told any of them. I haven't really told hardly anyone, but I'm glad the pressure is off. I have some plans to celebrate with my family and friends tomorrow."

Hayes stated that his high school coach was aware of his decision, but that he has not informed the college coaching staffs of his decision.

And of course, it always comes down to playing time for Geno Hayes. Where does Hayes feel like he would have the best chance for early playing time? "That would be Clemson," said the four-star linebacker.

Hold your breath Tiger fans, this one will likely go down in the early morning of National Signing Day.
