RB Carlos Brown
6-0, 195, 4.57
Heard County High School
The 6-foot-0, 195 pound prospect had an impressive junior season for Heard County High. "I had 1286 yards and 21 touchdowns this past year. I also played some at defensive back. I had 56 tackles and two interceptions," Brown told CUTigers.com in a recent interview.
On the recruiting front, some top programs in the southeast are already showing Brown a great deal of interest. "I don't have any offers yet or anything, but Auburn, Clemson, Miami and Michigan State are showing interest. Michigan State has called and I'm getting a lot of mail from the others," said Brown.
When asked if he has any early favorites, Brown responded, "Not really. I've been looking but I really don't have any yet."
The Georgia standout is already thinking about how he will select a college next year. "I will be looking for a place where I can get a good education in case I can't play football after college. I will also look for a good team. I would like to major in some kind of engineering," said Brown.
The Georgia native's summer camp plans will be finalized over the course of the next few months, but don't be suprised to see him make a couple of stops.
"Yeah, I'm not sure yet where I will camp yet. I might go to Michigan State and Georgia or some of the other schools that are showing interest," added Brown.
We will continue to keep you updated on this running back from Georgia, right up through signing day 2006.
