The offer list is growing quickly for the 6-4, 315 pound prospect as schools from across the country are interested in this star lineman. "I have offers from every SEC school. I also have offers from Clemson, Georgia Tech and Oklahoma. I am getting interest from Southern California, Oregon and UCLA," Smith told CUTigers.com in a recent interview.

The Huffman standout was named the MVP at the US Army All-American combine in January. "I ran an electronically timed 5.1 in the 40. I did a 4.9.3 in the shuttle."

The strengths are numerous for this prize recruit. "My strength is my drive blocking," stated Smith.

Smith also plans to get even better during his senior campaign. "I plan to work on my feet next year. I will jump rope a lot. I will also do a lot of quick feet drills."

When asked if he has any early favorites, Smith responded, "No sir. I like everyone right now.

"I'm looking for a school with great coaches. I am looking for a school with a great strength program. I want to go somewhere that I can make me work hard to get to next level."

Smith has a 3.0 GPA and plans to major in Business Management.

Don't expect an early commitment from Smith. "I plan to wait till next year to make a decision. I want to take my visits before I make a decision."

The camp plans are still a few months away for the talented lineman. "I'm not sure where I will go this summer. I am going to Nike camp in Athens," added Smith.

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding offensive lineman from Alabama, right up through signing day 2006.
