DE Attended Every Clemson Home Game in '04

Richland Northeast's Adam Patterson has only begun to reach his potential.

It seems like whenever Adam Patterson of Columbia (S.C.) Richland Northeast gets on the field he dominates. During his junior campaign he dominated opponents for 66 tackles including 11 for a loss and six sacks.

In a Michigan camp prior to that season, the 6-foot-3, 255-pound defensive tackle earned the honor of top defensive lineman in camp.

All these accomplishments haven't gone unnoticed. Clemson, Georgia, N.C. State, and North Carolina have all begun to recruit Patterson.

"I don't have any offers yet," stated Patterson. "Just getting a lot of information and letters right now."

With the information he has gained, Patterson has established two co-leaders.

"I'm starting to like Clemson and North Carolina State," remarked Patterson. "I like how they have a good tradition of football. I like both their defenses, too."

Patterson liked Clemson so much that he attended every Tiger home game last season, and Clemson's summer camp.

Patterson will once again camp at Clemson and Michigan this summer. He also figures to be in Raleigh this weekend for N.C. State's Junior Day.
