SC DT will Camp at Clemson

Ben Alexander of Anderson (S.C.) T.L. Hanna is seeing the benefits of a junior season that saw him make 77 tackles including 30 for a loss and seven sacks. <BR>

"Florida State offered about two days ago," stated Alexander. "They asked for some film, and my coach sent them some film. I guess they liked what they saw. I got a written letter and I called the coach and that's when they made the offer."

Clemson, Maryland, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, North Carolina, and N.C. State are all also recruiting Alexander hard and could follow FSU's lead. The 6-foot-1, 288-pound defensive tackle is showing the interested schools love right back.

"Really I'm wide open," remarked Alexander. "Basically, I'm looking harder at the schools that have sent me things and have shown interest."

Last weekend Alexander attended North Carolina's Junior Day and plans to attend South Carolina's on March 19th.

Alexander's summer camping schedule will include visits to Texas, Florida State, Clemson, and UNC.
