LA DE Listing Clemson

Baton Rouge (La.) defensive end Jonathan Hollins (6-4, 240, 4.75) says Georgia leads slightly over Miami, Clemson, LSU and USC. None have offered.

"I get a lot of letters from these schools, but they haven't indicated offers yet," says Hollins, from Redemptorist High School.

"I've been a Georgia fan since I was young, so that's why they're my leader. They've got a great school environment and it's a good feeling just being there. I think I could fit in well with their program.

"I've also been a big fan of Miami too. They've got a great tradition of winning, and guys that go there want to win. It's a great feeling being there as well. I also like the academics they have to offer.

"I've been getting a lot of handwritten letters from coach (Tommy) Bowden of Clemson. He's been real honest and straight with me so far. They've got a great atmosphere too and some great academics also.

"The only school to offer me so far has been Mississippi. I'm very thankful for their offer and I think it's a great school too.

Hollins was at LSU's Junior Day in late February, but has no other plans to attend anymore JR Days or camps.

"I really want to make this decision after the football season.

"I think I'm a very strong pass rusher and I'm very quick off the ball. My favorite time during a game is when it's third and long because I get this feeling that I can really get the QB. I'm also good at stopping the run too. I just want to get quicker up and down the field and gain more endurance." Top Stories
