Parker, Richardson Visiting Clemson

Georgia was very good to Clemson on signing day and the Tigers hope they can pull some more blue-chip prospect from the Peach State in 2006. CUTigers.com has the latest on another Georgia athlete checking out Clemson in this recruiting update. <BR>

Lee County High School
Leesburg, Georgia

The Tigers are just one of several teams to offer 6-0, 170 pound wide receiver prospect Lavelle Parker. "The offer list is still the same. But I am getting interest from a number of schools," Parker told CUTigers.com. When asked who his current leader is, Parker responded, "I still like Clemson. They are still the leader. Florida State and Tennessee are behind Clemson."

The Tigers will get a chance to impress Parker and his Lee County teammate D'Vontrey Richardson later this month. "D'Vontrey and I will be going up to Clemson for the spring game," stated Parker. "We are looking forward to it."

A commitment could be just a few months away for the prize recruit. "I will hopefully make a commitment this summer," stated Parker.

Parker plans to commit along with D'Vontrey. "We want to play together. If I'm ready to commit and he hasn't made up his mind yet then I will wait."

The talented athlete has been showing his skills on the track this spring. "I am still running track. We started spring practice last week," said the talented wide out.

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding receiver from Georgia, right up through signing day 2006.
