The 6-4, 225 pound prospect has already built a very impressive offer list. "Yeah I have fourteen offers now. The last to offer was Georgia," Sapp told CUTigers.com in a recent interview.
Other schools are also showing heavy interest, including one program from as far away as the west coast. "I've got 14 offers, then North Carolina, Oregon, Florida State, Miami, Illinois and Michigan are all in contact," said Sapp.
The Palmetto standout recently traveled to Georgia to see the Bulldogs practice. "I went to Georgia. It was okay. It wasn't as long a ride as I thought it would be. It was only about two and a half hours," said Sapp.
The Bamberg Ehrhardt standout has already visited both in-state schools. "I've been to both Clemson and Carolina so far. I may go to the spring game at Clemson. I'm not sure yet."
When asked if he has any leaders or current favorites, Sapp responded, "No, not yet. I will probably start narrowing it down this summer. By the end of May I will try to have a top 5 or top 10," added Sapp.
What will Sapp consider when starting narrowing developing his list of favorites?
"I will look at location. Distance doesn't really matter. I want to be in the city. I will look at how good the school is academically. I want to major in Physical Education."
We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding defensive lineman from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2006.
