WR Steven Rogers (6'2, 180), out of Lakeside High School in Augusta, Georgia caught 35 passes for 510 yards his sophomore season.
Last year, he increased his numbers considerably. As an all-region performer, he caught 63 passes for over 900 yds and 6 TDs. In fact, he led the Augusta area in receiving on the gridiron, and also is a solid basketball player scoring over 10 points a game for his team this season.
Steven is described as an athlete with the ability to make the first guy miss in the open field. He has great hands, and has been timed at under 4.5 in the 40-yard dash. He also has a great frame for a wideout, standing at over 6'2, and weighing in at just over 180 lbs.
Rogers has already been hearing from schools like Clemson, Georgia, and Georgia Tech. He camped last summer in Athens. We will continue to keep you updated on this fine athlete, as we receive more information.
