Asheville ATH Favors Clemson

The versatility and speed of Crezdon Butler of Asheville (N.C.) continue to catch the eye of coaching staffs throughout the ACC and SEC.

Recently, the 6-foot-1, 175-pound athlete has added two tenders to his offers sheet and strongly believes many others will soon follow. "I have two new ones: North Carolina State and Maryland," said Butler. "I have four [offers] right now, but I'm close to more offers."

North Carolina and Wake Forest round out the remaining names on Butler's offers list, while Clemson and Virginia seem to be the likely culprits to follow suit.

Surprisingly, Butler's current leader has yet to extend an offer to the athlete.

"Right now I like Clemson, but I have to make some more visits though," said Butler. "The school is really strong in my major – engineering, and I just like their football program."

Butler has attended junior days at North Carolina and Virginia, and has a date with Georgia upcoming. Additionally, he plans to camp at UNC and N.C. State this summer.

The pure athlete is being recruiting at cornerback, free safety, tailback and wide receiver. Butler played quarterback and defensive back for Asheville. Top Stories
