Will Sapp Attend Spring Game?

Some of the top prospects in the Southeast will be in attendance Saturday when the Tigers play their annual spring game at Memorial Stadium. Will Ricky Sapp be one of the star recruits in attendance?

The 6-5, 225 pound prospect may be traveling to Clemson this weekend to see the Tigers spring game. "I am not sure just yet but I most likely will be there. I may come up with some friends," Sapp told CUTigers.com.

The prize recruit has already collected a very impressive offer list. "I have about 20 offers. The latest offers are from Oklahoma, Georgia and North Carolina."

When asked if he has any favorites at this time, Sapp responded, "No sir."

The Palmetto standout expects to start narrowing things down over the next month. "I should have some favorites sometime in May," stated Sapp.

Sapp spends plenty of time reading these days as coaches from all of the country via for his services. "I get a lot of mail. I try to read it all."

Clemson assistant coach Ron West is working hard to keep the Tigers on his mind. "I hear a lot from Coach West. Yeah Big Daddy writes a lot."

When will the prize recruit be ready to pull the trigger on a commitment? "I am not sure. It will be sometime next year. I won't make a decision before the fall.

"I am lifting and trying to get faster for next year. I am doing a lot of speed drills."

Sapp is also looking for Bamberg Ehrhardt to have a big season next fall. "Practice is going well. I am expecting good things next year," added Sapp.
