Reserve WR Done at Clemson learns of a reserve wide receiver who will not be with the team next year.

Reserve wide receiver Chris Jefferson has not been at spring football practice in recent days, has confirmed with several sources.

Sources also say that Jefferson's football career at Clemson is done and that he will likely transfer.

A native of North Carolina, Jefferson redshirted his his first year at Clemson in 2003. He only saw limited action last year, and did not catch a pass.

Gerald McCloud, another reserve wide out, left the football team earlier this year, as did offensive lineman Tony Willis.

No formal announcement regarding Jefferson has been released by Clemson University. Top Stories
